With “Woud van de Kwade Geest” Duister Maanlicht returns again to it’s roots and sources of inspiration. Even more than before, this is an ode to the past. More stripped down than it’s predecessor “Influisteringen van de Duivel” and more focused than “Over Zwarte Kunsten…”, this is what Duister Maanlicht should have sounded all along.
The album is recorded in december ’21 and december ’22 and will be released on March 4th. 2023 via SneeuwStorm Produkties.

Duister Maanlicht is not a christian band, even though past lyrics might have misled people. Our goal is the war against female vocals in ‘black’ metal, keyboardblack and folk-influences in black metal.

SneeuwStorm Produkties is a Dutch record label, specialized in underground metal. It originally started in 1999 and closed it’s doors around 2006. Nokternal Hemizphear took over the rights of the majority of the releases in 2007. SneeuwStorm Produkties reopened in February ’21.
