Grave Robber frontman Shawn Browning to Release first Solo Single ‘Brand New Day’ (Feat. JimChaffin)

Shawn Browning‘s first single, Brand New Day, is a nod back to 90’s noisy guitar alternative pop. The song is akin to Bob Mould/Sugar/Husker Du, The Posies, Dinosaur Jr., The Replacements, early Soul Asylum, Superchunk, and Matthew Sweet. Of course with a heavy dose of Cheap Trick, Ramones, Sex Pistols naturally creeping in.

Browning (Vocals, Guitar, Bass) is accompanied on the drums by none other than Jim Chaffin (The Crucified/Deliverance/The Blamed).

Shawn Browning has been a mainstay in Fort Wayne, IN’s music scene for over 35 years fronting such bands as Fort Wayne’s first alternative band, The Hush (1987 to 1988), Jimmy’s Nickel (1988 to 1991), The Migraines (1991 to 2007), Grave Robber (2005 to present).

Shawn is also currently in Grave Robber, Salt (prog), The Mighty McGuiggans (Irish rock), and R.E.M. tribute act, Driver 8.
