The Dutch extreme metal band Slechtvalk finished recording their new album In April of last year. The upcoming album is recorded, mixed & mastered with Lasse Lammert at the LSD-Studio in Lübeck (Germany). The band have checked in with the following update:
“The manufacturing company has begun production of the album yesterday. (all artwork & DDP files we good and we’ve got the approval of the copyright institutions)”
“In a couple of days they’ll let us know when they can deliver, but early this week they said that the deadline we set (10 december) would be a tight schedule (but doable). But luckily we have a window of a couple of days, so unless things go terribly wrong during production we expect to have the album in time before our release-tour and to send out all copies you ordered a few days earlier.”
“If, by any chance, delivery of the albums will be so close to the tour that we are unable to sign & send them all before we hit the road, we’ll provide everyone who ordered a physical album with a download link, so you can at least listen to the new album before anyone else can (and probably we’ll send you a download link anyway).”
“Once we know the delivery date, we’ll reveal the artwork and a song from the album & make it available for preorder on our webshop (https://www.slechtvalkmerch.com), because reserves are low and we’ve got many bills to pay in the weeks before & after our tour.”
“Assuming we get the cds before the 10th and we’re able to send out the ones for our indiegogo backers before the 10-12th, pre-orders would be posted on the 15th (otherwise they will be the first ones we process after the tour), but more about that in the next update, when we have more certainty about the delivery date of the cds from the manufacturer and how much time we have to process everything.”
Slechtvalk will be on tour from 15 to 19 December with Nightland (IT) and Morgarten (DE)
