British death/doom metal band My Silent Wake [MSW] have posted a new ‘acoustic’ song “My Sorrow Is Yours”.
The song is from the forthcoming acoustic album ‘Preservation Restoration Reconstruction’. the album is a mix of melancholic folk and neo-medieval songs and instrumentals. This song has Ian Arkley on guitar, vocals, keys and mandolin, Steve Allan on various percussion instruments and Andy Stamp on violin. This was engineered by Ian Frost at Kewsound and mastered by Martin Bowes. Production by Ian Frost and Ian Arkley. The song can be streamed below.
The band line-up has changed again and the current membership is Ian Arkley, Mark Henry [Also of March of Time], Adam Westlake [Also of Striga] and Rich Alden [also of Penthos]. This line-up will be playing at future gigs. The previous members are all very much in contact with the band, and may return at some point. Many have been involved in recent recordings.
