Bremerton, WA, punk rock trio MxPx announce four commemorative “20th Anniversary Shows.” With the official anniversary falling on July 6, the band will play select dates this spring and summer to celebrate their new album, Plans Within Plans, and the legacy they’ve built over the years. MxPx ninth studio album Plans Within Plans was released last week on April 3rd, and is available now.

Their first stop begins in their home away from home, Seattle, WA, on Saturday, May 26, at El Corazon, with Amber Pacific and guests, followed by two Southern California House of Blues showcases. MxPx will join forces with friends Set Your Goals, Mest and Rufio for back-to-back performances at both The House of Blues Anaheim on Friday, June 29, and West Hollywood on Saturday, June 30.
Pre-sale tickets are available starting Thursday, March 29, at 10 a.m., exclusively through LiveNation. Public sale has begun saturday, March 31. MxPx will also head to Northern California to perform at JoshuaFest for the third time. Nearly five years since the release of their last album, MxPx is ready to continue their success with the release of Plans Within Plans. In addition to U.S./Canada distribution through MRI/Rock City Recording Company, the album will also be available in Japan [Bullion Records], Europe/U.K. [Flix Records] and Australia/New Zealand [El Shaddai Records]. New pre-order bundles of the album, LP and newly designed t-shirt are available on the band’s website as well.
MxPx is Mike Herrera [bass/vocals], Tom Wisniewski [guitars] and Yuri Ruley [drums]. In the span of 19 years, the band has sold over 2.5 million records worldwide. Their music has been known for its ability to unite formerly distinguished fan bases such as the skate/surf community and the punk underground for almost two decades.
