HTD 2015Haste The Day has teamed up with Alternative Press to premiere another new song ‘Take’. The track comes from the group’s upcoming album “Coward” (their first in five years) which will be released on May 19 through Solid State Records. The video can be seen below.

Haste The Day existed for ten years before being put to rest in 2011. Initially reuniting for one anniversary show in the band’s hometown of Indianapolis, Haste The Day‘s musical chemistry was re-ignited. Deciding to crowd fund album costs via Indiegogo and self-record, over $140,000 was raised within a month.

“Coward” features contributions from all Haste The Day members including vocal duties split by Jimmy Ryan (2002-2005) and Keech.

Haste the Day formed in Carmel, Indiana in 2001. Their name is derived from a lyric in the hymn ‘It Is Well With My Soul.’ The band released an EP titled “That They May Know You,” in 2002, followed by five studio albums: “Burning Bridges” (2004), “When Everything Falls” (2005), “Pressure the Hinges” (2007), “Dreamer” (2008), and “Attack of the Wolf King” (2010). The group disbanded in March 2011, but reformed in 2014.
