Fit For A King has premiered a new song with Alternative Press yesterday. The new song ‘A Greater Sense of Self’ is the first new music to materialize from the bands forthcoming album “Slave To Nothing”. The video can be seen below.
To be released on October 14th via Solid State Records, “Slave To Nothing” was produced by Will Putney (Suicide Silence, Miss May I) and promises to be the bands most massive sounding work to date.
Cover artwork for the album was also unveiled recently after a tweet to unlock campaign last week. Wrapping up a successful jaunt on this summers Warped Tour, the Texas based quartet has already announced two major fall tours. These include a co-headlining tour (presented by MerchNow) with Being As An Ocean as well as support from Gideon and Wolves At The Gate (9/27-10/25). Following that Fit For A King will join Emmure on their Eternal Enemies Tour along with The Acacia Strain, Stray From The Path and Kublai Khan. All tour dates are listed below
The band’s 2013 release “Creation/Destruction” was the BIGGEST album debut in the history of the label (which is no small feat considering their catalogue also includes heavyweights such as Underoath, August Burns Red and Demon Hunter).
Since that time Fit For A King have criss-crossed the nation supporting acts including For Today, Upon A Burning Body, Attila, Like Moths To Flames, Stray From The Path and Impending Doom.
