The melodic/power-metal band THEOCRACY returns to Europe in 2027 for the “Grand Mosaic Tour 2027”. The Americans kick off their new European tour on Friday, March 5, at the Nieuwe Nor pop venue in Heerlen. In addition to the Netherlands, Theocracy will visit Belgium, France, Germany, and Switzerland.
Theocracy has always enjoyed great success in Europe, and this is no different with their latest album, “Mosaic”. The album was released by ATOMIC FIRE (now REIGNING PHOENIX MUSIC), after which the band played several festivals in Europe, including EPIC FEST. The new tour will center on “Mosaic”, but classics from earlier albums will also be featured.
Although Theocracy has played regularly in Europe, the band had not previously performed in either Belgium or France. The band was keen to include these countries this time to cater to their growing fanbase there. In Belgium, Theocracy will play at DVG Club in Kortrijk, and in France, an exclusive show will be performed in Paris.

The progressive metal band SUNBURST will join this tour as a special guest, featuring guitarist Gus Drax (ex-SUICIDAL ANGELS). The Greeks have two successful albums to their name, of which the latest album, “Manifesto” (INNERWOUND RECORDINGS), was particularly well-received internationally. Gus Drax responds: “It’s been already some years since our last mini tour, so this one feels like our first European tour ever. The fact that it’s going to happen alongside our good friends Theocracy and Signum Regis makes it even more special and something we can’t wait for. Looking forward to meeting you all in Central Europe in March. We promise you amazing music, great vibes, and nights to remember.”
The support act is the Slovak power metal band SIGNUM REGIS, whose new album “Beyond Spacetime” will be released on October 9 via FIREFLASH RECORDS. Theocracy singer Matt Smith makes a guest appearance on that album. Signum Regis has toured Europe regularly in recent years and managed to build a solid fanbase in the process.
