Earlier today, Swedish heavy metal band Messenger reported the following:
‘Hi there everyone! Hope you’re all good! The last two years have been slow years and we’ve been struggling to keep the band going. But life has been catching up and the last year or so we have hardly been able to do anything with the band at all. We’ve been trying to keep it going many times but we have now realized it might not be possible at this time.’
‘We’re NOT saying that this is the definitive end of Messenger, we are however taking a break for as long as we new to. Our private lives are, as of now, taking us all in other directions that makes keeping a band running impossible.’
‘We want to thank you all for the support you have shown us! It wouldn’t have been possible at all to do this without you!’
‘So for now we will take a rest and if God wants it we might be back some day stronger than ever!’
‘Thank you and God bless!’
