The Dutch extreme metal band Slechtvalk finished recording their new album In April of last year. The fifth album carries the title “Where Wandering Shadows And Mists Collide” will finally be released on December 20th. Recorded, mixed & mastered with Lasse Lammert at the LSD-Studio in Lübeck (Germany). The official lyric video for ‘We Are’ can be watched below’
The band have checked in with the following update:
“We are happy to announce we’ll be getting the digipack cd’s in time from the manufacturing company and are able to send out all signed copies from the various perks between 10 – 12 december.
“And as promised we’re going to reveal the artwork from the amazing Raymond Swanland with you and what better way to reveal the artwork than with an awesome lyric video of the song ‘We Are’?
“I’ve also done a graphic overhaul of our webshop (although it still needs some tweaking, CSS and customizable templates are not my ally, I rather do some Java coding) and made the new album available for pre-order.
“So now you can get your hyped friends (who missed out on the crowdfunding campaign) order their copy in advance (unsigned that is, because getting a signed album is a privilege reserved for our backers and those who take the effort to visit one of our shows and meet us in person)
Slechtvalk will be on tour from 15 to 19 December with Nightland (IT) and Morgarten (DE)

Slechtvalk‘s latest album “A Forlorn Throne” was released in the summer of 2010 through the German record label Whirlwind Records, and once and for all proved Slechtvalk’s dominance as one of the best Dutch Blackmetalacts, receiving excellent reviews throughout Europe.
