Progressive Metalcore Band ‘Levels’ Releases ‘Slip’ Music Video

levels_logoThe Arkansas based progressive metalcore, Levels (Influenced By: Periphery, Veil of Maya, Northlane, Architects, Beartooth) released their music video for their single ‘Slip’ on New Noise Magazine. The video can also be watched below.

“The idea behind the lyrics of ‘Slip’ comes from the constant feeling of being trapped inside your own mind. I believe everyone has those thoughts and ideas of what or who they want to be, but the constant pressures of the people around them impact what they actually do. Letting our minds ‘slip’ from those constant pressures and images engraved in our heads allows us to become a person that we are proud to be and comfortable with being.”

Levels is a five-piece progressive metalcore band hailing from the Central Arkansas area that formed in 2015. The band, consisting of Jake Sanders (Vocals), Dalton Kennerly (Drums/Vocals), Rob Mathews (Guitar), Jager Felice (Guitar), Jacob Hubbard (Bass) who quickly grew with the help of the Central Arkansas music scene since their first show in December of 2015. Levels developed their sound from many notable bands such as: Volumes, ERRA, Fit For a King, Periphery, and Novelists. Throughout their short time as a band, Levels has shared the stage with artists such as: Beartooth, Silent Planet, ’68, Rival Choir, Convictions, Tear Out the Heart, and The Devil Wears Prada.

For their debut EP, “Exist” Levels teamed up with Kolossal Recordings and Andreas Magnusson. With their six track EP, it made an impression on their hometown and audience across the nation with their energy on stage and meaningful lyrics.
