Swedish neo-classical metallers Narnia just checked in with the following announcement:
“Hi everybody! Christian here the singer in Narnia As you may know we are soon ready with the new album. We will be doing touring around the world. Starting in Sweden. We have also planned to do touring in Europe 4-13 November. 5th and 11th of November is booked.”
“We want to visit UK again and of course Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, and hopefully Italy and more countries. We can do both electric and acoustic shows. We will continue during 2017-2018 so we reach as many parts of the world.”

The band formed in Sweden in 1996, disbanded in 2010, and reformed in 2014. Their album themes heavily reference The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis.
Narnia has toured with such bands as Dio, Stratovarius and Sonata Artica. They played several festivals, such as Sweden Rock Festival and Gates Of Metal, where thousands of fans enjoyed Narnia‘s energetic live show, which leaves no one unaffected.
Since the beginning of Narnia they have released six studio albums: “Awakening” [1998], “Long Live the King” [1999], “Desert Land” [2001], “The Great Fall” [2003], “Enter the Gate” [2006], “Course of a Generation” [2009].
Narnia‘s most recent album, “Course Of A Generation”, came out in Europe on July 24, 2009 via Massacre Records. The CD marked the recording debut of lead singer Germán Pascual [Mind’s Eye, Mendez], who replaced Christian Liljegren. The cover artwork was created by Carlos Barbosa from Artiside, Brazil and the logo was redesigned by Rainer Mittelstädt of InLine Design in Germany.
“Course Of A Generation” was mixed by Fredrik Nordström and Henrik Udd at Studio Fredman [In Flames, Soilwork, Arch Enemy, Dimmu Borgir] in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Narnia 2016 is: Christian Liljegren – vocals, CJ Grimmark – guitars, Andreas “Habo” Johansson – drums, Martin Härenstam – keyboards and Andreas Passmark – bass.
