After a nearly decade wait, new music from Carmel, IN-based metalcore band Haste The Day has officially seen a release. The group have just pushed out a music video for their comeback single, ‘Burn‘ — a song they previously performed live this past summer.
Vocalist Stephen Keech stated:
“We wrote ‘Burn‘ to be a metalcore thrasher with harmonized guitar melodies, an epic chorus, a crushing breakdown riff, and lyrics about a broken system of justice focused on retaliation instead of restoration.
Being the first song that we’ve released in nine years, we wanted to put our best foot forward musically but also address an important topic in today’s divided world: The more we try to tear others down, the more we destroy ourselves.”
With the group have newly returned to the roster of Solid State Records, plans are being laid for a new album in 2025. The group will be back onstage in December to play the following show:
