Grunge/Alternative Band ‘Tigerwine’ New Song ‘Double -Edged’ Available for Streaming

Tigerwine has unleashed another killer song from the forthcoming release, “Die With Your Tongue Out.”, which is set for release on 04/14 through Blood & Ink. The album was recorded with Matt Goldman (Underoath, Anberlin, The Chariot) at Glow In The Dark Studios and shows the group maturing their sound in ways most bands don’t achieve until well into their careers. The song is called ‘Double-Edged’ and can be streamed below.

Vocalist and guitarist Hayden Trobee said:

“‘Double-Edged’ is about belief in something (or nothing) for its own sake. It’s kind of my observation of people’s willingness to take someone else’s word rather than find out what they think/want/believe for themselves. It’s about people who claim a lifestyle out of worship of a band member or accept/renounce a faith out of fear of rejection. It devalues the convictions of those who carry the real burdens of those decisions. It cheapens the hard-fought conclusions of all the people who genuinely wrestled with every truth and lie.“

“Colorado’s Tigerwine hold nothing back. Whether through emotional lyrics or their live show, the band very evidently give 110 percent all the time.” – Substream Magazine

Tigerwine is hitting the road this spring with Daisyhead and Northbound.

Colorado’s Tigerwine melds progressive post-hardcore with the gloomy low-end of new-wave grunge to create a driving, in-your-face musical experience unlike any you’ve encountered before. After signing to Blood & Ink Records in the summer of 2015, the band released their debut EP, “Lull” introducing listeners to their self-reflective breed of raw, guitar-heavy alt-rock.

Tigerwine is Steve Lichtenwalter, Sean McKnight, Shane Riley, Hayden Trobee.
