Swiss folk metallers Eluveitie & American thrash metal band Megadeth are added to the line-up for FortaRock 2016, which takes place on June 4 & 5. 2016 as usual in the Goffertpark in Nijmegen, Netherlands.
Sofar, are also confirmed: Volbeat, Disturbed, King Diamond, Abbath, Dark Funeral, Wind Hand and Havok already confirmed. More tba.
Eluveitie‘s latest album “Origins” was released on August 5th. 2014 via Nuclear Blast Records. The cover artwork for the CD was created by Eluveitie frontman Chrigel Glanzmann and can be seen below. The effort was once again recorded at New Sound Studio in Pfäffikon, a municipality in the canton of Zurich in Switzerland, with producer Tommy Vetterli (a.k.a. Tommy T. Baron; Coroner/ex-Kreator guitarist).

Megadeth‘s fifteenth album “Dystopia” will be released on January 22, 2016. The follow-up to 2013’s “Super Collider” was recorded earlier in the year in Nashville, Tennesseeand was produced byMegadeth mainman Dave Mustaine and Toby Wright (Alice In Chains, Korn). The CD was mixed by Josh Wilbur, who has previously worked with Lamb Of God, All That Remains & Gojira.
“Dystopia” marks the recording debut of Megadeth‘s new lineup, featuring founding members Mustaine(guitar, vocals) and David Ellefson (bass) alongside Lamb Of God drummer Chris Adler and Brazilian guitarist Kiko Loureiro, best known for his work with Angra.
