Swiss folk metal band Eluveitie issued the following message, due to their last tour [Neckbreaker’s Ball Tour], read it below. And check out pictures from their show november 13th. in Hengelo/The Netherlands HERE.

We’d like to thank all the fans, bands and crew attending or involved with the Neckbreaker’s Ball Tour 2011 – we had a blast. As you may have heard already we didn’t go home after the last show though. Instead we met up with Grupa13 (Thousandfold video, latest Behemoth videos) in Poland again. To shoot not one, but two videos for songs off our upcoming Album Helvetios! All we can say for now is that what we saw on location was absolutely awesome, and we are very excited to see the final result.  Below is an impression from one of the locations.

Earlier this month Eluveitie announce that they are taking part in the next North American run of the Finnish metal legends Children Of Bodom in early 2012! These dates will be part of the first leg of their 2012 Helvetios World Tour, with more to be announced within the next weeks and months. Tourdates and billing are listed below.

Recently Eluveitie entered New Sound Studio in Pfäffikon, a municipality in the canton of Zurich in Switzerland, with producer Tommy Vetterli (a.k.a. Tommy T. BaronCoroner/ex-Kreator guitarist) to begin recording their new album, Helvetios, for an early 2012 release via Nuclear Blast Records. According to the band,Vetterli “will record drums, guitars and vocals and will also be producing and mixing the record. Most folk instruments and also vocals will be recorded by Anna Murphy and Marco Jencarelli at the Soundfarm studios in Lucerne.”

In other news, Eluveitie will hold the first edition of its own festival, Eluveitie & Friends on December 30, 2011 at the Volkshaus in Zurich. Other bands scheduled to participate in the event include Coroner  and Korpiklaani.
