‘Adorned In Ash’ ‘Decent to Hell’ Live at “The Darkest Night Event” (Video)

adorned-in-ash-logo-300x212Fan-Filmed footage of female fronted hybrid metal band Adorned In Ash at “The Darkest Night Event” last saturday (May 16th) at The Red Door, Pietermaritzburg (SA). Check out the video below.

‘Decent to Hell’ comes of their debut album “The Dead Walk Among Us” which has been released Feb. 1st. 2014. The album was recorded at Open Track Studios in Pretoria and includes work from all band members since 2010 with Robyn’s vocals updating tracks where needed.  Mixing and mastering was done by frontwoman Robyn Ferguson.

Adorned In Ash is hailing from Pretoria, South Africa. Their influences include everything from thrash, speed and groove metal bands to more progressive & technical death & black metal.

The band says: ‘We aim to bring melody as well as technicality into our music, in order to appeal to a wide and varying audience, without ever compromising on the brutality & power of the death metal genre.’

‘Ultimately, the band exists for one purpose and one purpose only, and that is to bring glory to the One Eternal and Mighty God, who sent His Son Jesus Christ to rescue us from hell…and ourselves.’

‘Thanks to His death, we can truly live. Our bodies may fade away, but our hearts are been transformed from strength to strength. This temporary world may turn against us, but we will endure forever under His perfect love and faithfulness.’
