Greek Heavy Metal Band ‘Diviner’ Announces Line-Up Change

The Greek heavy metallers Diviner have announced that the co-founding member and guitar player Thimios Krikos (InnerWish) have left the band due to a heavy and conflicting schedule.

Diviner comments: “This was a very difficult decision for Thimios to make, and also for us to accept. But life isn’t always as we want it to be. Thimios was not just a guitar player for us. He was our producer, co-writer and a true brother. We want to thank him for everything he has done for Diviner and honestly wish him the best of luck for his future endeavors.”

Thimios comments on his departure: “It has been a great journey so far, but it’s time for me to abandon the ship. Not because it’s sinking but in order for it to be able to continue the journey without any obstacles! Time is relentless and there isn’t always enough to do whatever we love. It was a difficult, yet necessary decision both for me and Diviner. I wish the guys all the best and I’m sure they will be doing just great! See you around with InnerWish and make sure you will continue to support Diviner because the best is yet to come!”

Diviner are happy to announce their new guitar player and full band member Kostas Fitos (Menorâh, ex- Dream Weaver).

Diviner comments on the addition of Kostas: “So we say goodbye to a friend, but in the same time we welcome a new one. Our new guitar player is Kostas Fitos, an extremely talented player that we feel will give a new dimension to our sound! We look forward to see you on the road with our new line-up!”

Diviner‘s debut album “Fallen Empires” has been released in November 2015 through Ulterium Records.

“Fallen Empires” is a very strong heavy metal album that keeps the legacy from the genre but at the same time sounds new and inspired. Perfect for fans of bands likeAccept, Dio, Judas Priest and Iced Earth! Mastered byPeter In de Betou [Arch Enemy, Opeth, Amon Amarth].

Their sound influences cover a very wide range of metal paths having classic heavy origins and melodies, blended with modern crushing riffs, groovy rhythm sections, powerful vocals and an overall up to date approach.
