Vials of Wrath, the Christian-based black/ambient metal solo project of Dempsey “DC” Mills [picture], reported the following:
“Black Metal Underground Records / Martyrdom Records has offered to re-release the first Vials of Wrath EP in a limited edition of 50 copies. However, the CD will be completely remastered, and include a never-before released track, “The Shadow of Death.” The album will be called “Let There Be Light,”. For those who may not have heard them, these early VoW songs are more in the “blackened death-metal” style than Seeking Refuge; for fans of Dissection, Dark Tranquillity or maybe even Dimmu Borgir. “Let There Be Light.” will be released July 23.”
Vials of Wrath has released a full lenght album of material, titled “Seeking Refuge,” last April 23rd, 2013. DC is a former rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist for Bloodline Severed – a Christian deathcore band currently signed to Red Cord Records.
“Seeking Refuge” Album Review Quote:
“This is an incredible debut release and especially as a solo project. Production quality is excellent throughout and the arrangements are very well done. I would have liked to have heard the drums a bit more pronounced or defined, but that is primarily my own taste. In the end, there is so much good here that this is one of those albums that will get a lot of play”.
