Riverside, California-based Christian death metallers Impending Doom have announced their first Australian tour for this September. The metal outfit continue to support their latest, and fourth studio album Baptized In Filth which is out now via eOne / Shock. Joining them will be Gold Coast’s Prepared Like A Bride who are preparing for the release of their new EP A Dangerous Journey. Tickets for the tour are on sale next Friday 11th May from 9am. Baptized In Filth, the fourth full-length album from Impending Doom, sold 4,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 106 on The Billboard 200 chart.
Baptized In Filth was released on March 13. The CD was produced by Andreas Magnusson [The Black Dahlia Murder, The Famine] and was mixed by Machine, who has previously worked with Lamb Of God, Suicide Silence amd Demon Hunter, among others.

Impending Doom is Brook Reeves on vocals, Cory Johnson on guitar, David Sittig on bass and Brandon “B-Town” Trahan on drums.
Impending Doom‘s third full-length album, There Will Be Violence, was released on July 20, 2010 via Facedown Records. The CD was recorded at Lambesis Studios with Daniel Castleman [As I Lay Dying, Winds Of Plahue, War Of Ages] and it features guest appearances by Tim Lambesis of As I Lay Dying and Vincent Bennett of The Acacia Strain.
