Victory Records has announced the signing of San Antonio’s Darkness Divided. The four-piece is quickly making a name for itself through heavy DIY touring — including major festivals such as Cornerstone and Sonshine.
Darkness Divided vocalist Gerard Mora comments: “We are incredibly stoked to be a part of the Victory Records family!
“We’ve always been fans of Victory‘s roster, and it’s a blessing to be included with the many talented bands that Victory has worked with over the years.
“We are currently writing our debut full-length, and we have some really cool tour opportunities on the horizon.
“We can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve been writing and playing in a ton of new places very soon!”
Darkness Divided is a Christian band from San Antonio, Texas. Combining elements from traditional Metal bands and modern-day Metalcore acts, the band offers an original and exciting sound in a rapidly-flourishing Metal scene.
Since releasing their first EP “Chronicles” [produced by Daniel Castleman] in May of 2012, the band’s most recent efforts are the singles ‘Redeemer’ and ‘Voyager’, both for which they have premiered music videos.

With over 150 shows under their belts, Darkness Divided has developed an intense, high-energy live performance that has intrigued fans from clubs to festival stages across the United States, and has shared the stage with bands such as Haste The Day, Underoath & For Today. While touring and performing as often as possible, the band is also hard at work writing their first full-length album anticipated to be released Summer 2014.
