Do you play in a band? Are you ready for the next step? Then I have good news; the MetalBattle is about to start again!
This is the opportunity for you to take that step further. In addition to media attention, the winner also receives coaching to grow and is guaranteed a place to play at a number of Dutch festivals. This will build visibility and if you get it right, it will become the springboard to getting bigger. The winner can even perform at the largest metal festival in the world: Wacken Open Air 2024!
In addition, a place is also offered to play at Stonehenge and at Baroeg Open Air.
The MetalBattle is a competition for which you can register. A preliminary round takes place per province and as a band you can register for your province. From the registered bands, 4 bands are chosen per province that can actually compete.
In the rounds you have 30 minutes to play your own songs. 1 cover may be played. 15 minutes of set-up time is reserved between the bands.
