The new Vivaldi Metal Project album will not only feature classical masterworks by Vivaldi, but the works of other great composers such as Chopin, Mozart, Bach, Fauré, Schubert, Saint-Saens, Dvorak, Beethoven, Albinoni, Paganini, and more.
While based on classical themes, these songs will be largely composed of original material, representative of Vivaldi Metal Project’s symphonic-metal style.
As on the band’s previous album “The Four Seasons”, all songs will include vocalists, band, orchestra and choir, as well as a featured cast of internationally-recognized metal and classical artists.
The band’s first record revolved around the concept of the various “seasons” of the human life – from birth to death. As a continuation of the last, this new album will explore the “seasons” of our emotional experience as human beings – from joys to sorrows and from frailty to deep strength. Each song creates a rich musical tapestry expressing the “colours” of raw human emotion, while weaving a common thread throughout the album.
Vivaldi Metal Project‘s album “The Four Seasons” has been released on July 22nd 2016 via Pride & Joy Music. The project is a symphonic-metal opera based on Antonio Vivaldi’s Baroque masterwork “The Four Seasons”, featuring more than 130 amazing metal and classical artists, orchestra, a string quartet and three choirs from all over the world. The album features 14 tracks – all the movements from Antonio Vivaldi’s original score plus two original new songs written by Mistheria. The impressive roster of artists probably makes this titanic album the biggest all-star project ever!
A cast of ten arrangers joined Mistheria creating epic and memorable music, combining a standard metal band lineup with strings, orchestra and choir. Full arrangers/artists roster at vivaldimetalproject.com
It took more than 2 years of intensive non-stop hard work to get the album done. Mixed and mastered by Ivan Moni Bidin at “Artesonika” recording studio in Italy and assisted by Fabio D’Amore, the album is a full 75 minutes of intense, passionate, fascinating, powerful and majestic experience!
