Veritas Vinyl, Vinyl Remains and The Crucified are proud to present the limited-edition re-release of the band’s 1988 album, The Crucified. Only 500 will be pressed in multiple vinyl colors. Pre-order package deals to be announced later. An release date is set for Februari 2013.
Building upon the momentum of their three independently-released ‘demo tapes’, The Crucified caught the attention of the brand new label, NarrowPath Records 1988. The guys were asked to record a few songs of their new material for NarrowPath and so spent a weekend at the legendary Casbah Studios in Fullerton, CA under the engineering guidance of Greg Heil, Casbah’s resident engineer. Greg had recently recorded their Live at the New Order tape and the guys felt Greg had a good grasp of their vision. NarrowPath signed the band after hearing the samples and soon the band returned to Casbah to record 14 songs for their first legitimate full-length, self-titled album.
