Having already had a long career in the music scene, moving between various branches of heavy music, the brazilian musician Angelo Torquetto has for some time now let one of his great musical passions, hard rock, guide his journey in a way that is always unique and simple, without getting stuck in the monotony of repeating tired formulas. And this can be seen with the release of his newest single, “Unbound”.
Composed by Angelo himself, ‘Unbound’ tells us about the moments in life when we go through a dark time in our soul and we chain ourselves to our own emotions, closing ourselves off from the world and somehow, becoming prisoners of ourselves. This until we reach a point where we need an external factor, someone to break down the door of this mental captivity, destroy the chains and guide us outside, where there is light.
Along with this new song, Angelo Torquetto (vocalist, guitarist and creator of the project) also presents the musicians Edu Sartori (guitar), Rott (bass) and Clodoaldo Paiva (drums) as official members of the line up of the now band Torquetto.
Regarding the decision to transform the project into a full band, Angelo says that “I needed competent musicians who would add value and not only perform the songs already released, but also compose new ones and mix ideas. With the current line-up, none of the characteristics of the material already released by the band will be lost in the new compositions, as they are all virtuoso musicians, competent and have great composition ideas. I believe that we will have an improved Torquetto, something that is already noticeable in what we are preparing for the near future”.
Mixed and mastered by Rodrigo Zacconi at Zacconi Estúdio, with guitars and bass recorded at Torquetto Studio and drums at One Music Studio, the single “Unbound” had its video clip filmed at Arena TK and can be seen at the link below.
