‘Lovers in a Colorless Summer’ is the second single from Nightland‘s upcoming album “Umbra Astra Luna” The music video which was directed by Matteo Ermeti can be seen below. The band comments on the video,
” ‘Lovers in a Colorless Summer’ is the conclusion of a story that began with ‘One Million Suns’ , a single released last September and which shares dark and surreal settings and images. The two episodes have the gloomy and romantic concept at the base of the album as a leitmotif, which takes inspiration from astrology and a veiled esotericism present in the symbols that recur insistently throughout history. A journey through images and disturbing presences, to represent the path that each of us makes within himself, in an attempt to defeat his own demons, expose his weaknesses and then discover that he is able to find a place to put in safety and peace his own soul “.
Nightland’s second full-length “Umbra Astra Luna” is scheduled to be released on November 8th .
As previously reported, Nightland will play Friday Nov. 8th. at the 12th edition of Brainstorm Festival in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands.
