Swedish Hardrock Band Starmen Releases Second Single and Video ‘Rockstar’ – From Their Fourth Album “Starmenized”

Swedish hardrock-band Starmen today releases ’Rockstar’, which is the second single and video from their fourth album, “Starmenized”. This sing-along-friendly banger continues the countdown to the album release via Melodic Passion Records and Sound Pollution on September 8, 2023.

Three weeks after the first single release with the radio-friendly smash hit ’Radioactive’, Starmen continues to tirelessly deliver. This time it’s about a groovier banger that oozes both hit feeling and a 70s/80s-vibe, where bassist Gold – aka Jonatan Samuelsson (Narnia) – takes care of the lead vocals.

– It has been a very inspiring and creative journey to here and I am so happy that we finally get to share this and other songs with the rest of the world, says the band’s bassist Jonatan Samuelsson.

– This song is partly self-experienced, but in the same spirit as the cover, the text is also considerably more “superhero” than reality and my goal with the lyrics is to encourage others to dare to dream big, concludes Samuelsson.

The album has a fitting graphic theme that consistently revolves around superheroes and rock stars in a retro comic book style.

Out of the album’s 10 tracks, Starmen will release at least 8 videos and this is the second. The level of ambition is at its peak and there are also rumors that the band is preparing to follow up the album live.

“Starmenized” is produced by Kristian Hermanson and released via the record company Melodic Passion Records in collaboration with Sound Pollution Distribution September 8th, 2023.
