New Zealand’s brutal metallic hardcore band Saving Grace just released a video for ‘Anthem of the Underground’ which is taken is from their latest album “The Urgency” which has been released in Jan. 2014 through Facedown Records. The video can be seen below.
“Shot at the Ding Dong Lounge in Auckland, ‘Anthem of the Underground’ is a tribute and monument to hardcore being a lifestyle and a community, just as much as it is a sound, genre, or scene. We shot the video courtesy of NZONAIR with no security, no gimmicks, just a straight up video of the band, the crowd, and the music.”
“The Urgency” was produced and engineered in New Zealand by California’s Zack Ohren [The Ghost Inside, First Blood, Carnifex, All Shall Perish], “The Urgency” is the band’s most raw and aggressive effort to date and sees a return to earlier roots of their original sound which is heavily influenced by traditional European metalcore and mixed with stylings of American hardcore and death metal. Original artwork for “The Urgency” was created by UK artist Colin Marks [Whitechapel, Impending Doom, Oceano, All Shall Perish].

Lyrics: ‘Anthem of the Underground’
Fight. Fight ’til the death! Fight. Fight until our dying breath.
We are the broken. We are the lost. We are the ones who’ll take this back at all costs.
This generation is alive. The sleepless ones who’ll raise the dead.
Because we have nothing to lose. You can’t hang this death over our heads. No.
This is the time for which we’re born, and there’s no way to slow us down.
This is the anthem of the underground.
We are the broken. We are the lost. We are the ones who’ll take this back at all costs.
We are the faithful. We are the few. We are the chosen. We are the true.
