Black-death metal band Burial Earth from Holland has announced that their bass player Jeremy Howlett call it quits. Jeremy‘s statement follows below:
Hey everyone, it’s Jeremy here.
I’ve been in Burial Earth for a few years now, spending long hours on the road throughout Europe, spending long hours through the night with Nanne playing Resident Evil and of course spending countless hours rehearsing.
After all the fun times, it’s time for me to say goodbye to BE though. The style is growing away from the style I enjoy the most, and it’s simply not feasible anymore for me to put in all the hours of travelling and whatnot to play music that doesn’t interest me that much anymore.
Regardless, I’m grateful to the other band members who have become my friends over the years. I’m grateful to everyone who has ever come out to see us at our shows. It was an awesome experience and I’ll be sure to return to music when I find time and motivation for it (I did release a demo from my solo project with Geert’s help, you can hear and download it for free at www.facebook.com/camaelmetal ).
To Burial Earth and all of its fans, thank you, thank you, thank you!
