Finnish winter metal band Immortals Souls are back with a new music video. ‘Calm Before The Snowstorm’ is the first song from their upcoming album, which will be released somewhere this year. The video can be seen below.
The video has been shot on March 15-17 in Tallinn, Estonia. To see pictures from the video-shoot click here.
Immortal Souls formed in 1991. They released a split album and their debut on Little Rose Productions in late 1990s and early 2000s. In 2002 Immortal Souls signed with Dutch label Fear Dark which released their second and third album as well as a compilation. Their musical style is characterized by their use of melodic guitar riffs and singing which shifts between growls and shouting. Their music has been called winter metal since Immortal Souls utilizes frosty metaphors in their lyrics and usually creates a cold, wintry atmosphere. Their most recent album “IV: The Requiem For The Art of Death” has been released October 7th. 2011 [Europe] via Dark Balance and October 11th. 2011 [US] via Facedown Records. “IV:The Requiem for the Art of Death” is their first release since 2007′s Wintereich.
