Edguy frontman Tobias Sammet‘s Avantasia project will release its seventh studio album, “Ghostlights”, on January 29, 2016 via Nuclear Blast. The twelve-song CD was produced by Tobias and Sascha Paeth at Gatestudio in Wolfsburg, Germany. Paeth engineered and mixed “Ghostlights”, while the mastering was done by Michael Rodenberg.

Avantasia‘s last album, “The Mystery Of Time”, was released in March 2013.
Avantasia made its North American debut on July 7, 2013 at the Quebec City Summer Festival (Festival D’été De Québec) in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada
