Rock quintet Flyleaf is currently in Los Angeles with producer Howard Benson recording its forthcoming third album. Singer Lacey Sturm, who welcomed his first child, Joshua “Jack” Lewis Sturm, on April 10, 2011 [father is Joshua Sturm, guitarist of the band Kairos], will meet her bandmates later this month to begin laying down her vocals for the CD. She tells AOL‘s Noisecreep, “I’m actually bringing my son with me, so I’m really excited. But I’m not sure what the deadline is like in terms of the album release date and all that. All I know is that it will come out this year [laughs].”

Sturm told The Pulse Of Radio that her baby was named after her husband and her favorite writer, “Chronicles Of Narnia” author C.S. Lewis.

Flyleaf  released an EP called Remember To Live in December 2010. The effort featured new recordings of seven rare Flyleaf  tracks that fans have requested over the years, including “Justice & Mercy”, “Believe In Dreams” and “Amy Says”.

Lacey in 2010 collaborated with Australian singer Orianthi on her new song Courage.
