Following up on official lyric video ‘New Horizons’ now comes ‘Illuminate the Trail’, taken from the highly anticipated Textures album “Phenotype” which will be released February 5th 2016 through Nuclear Blast Records.
In contrast to ‘New Horizons’, which had a more melodic feel, ‘Illuminate the Trail’ is a hard-hitter from start to finish. “Phenotype” is available for pre-order at our merchstore.
In support of “Phenotype,” Textures will hit European stages in February 2016. Dates & locations are listed below.
“Phenotype” is a song-based, 60-minute-long album which presents an eclectic overview of what modern metal offers. Catchy, innovative and progressive songs are what Textures stand for.
The new virtuosos Uri Dijk (synth) and Joe Tal (guitar) deliver a new, harmonic vibe to the mature Textures sound.
“Genotype” is a 45-minute-long conceptual track. The root material “Phenotype” consists of is presented in this song, but in a totally different context. Textures go out of the box. More proggy, more atmosphere and lots of extra layers to fill the last gaps left in this extensive, double roller coaster ride.
