Blacked Out Eyed Metalist, Cadence Calling Set to Release “Dark Sentiment”

I’d like to introduce you to Cadence Calling and their upcoming EP, “Dark Sentiment.”

For fans that appreciate August Burns Red to Parkway Drive, Cadence Calling blends new and old school metal with relentless harmonies and melodies as well as ruthless heaviness.

Known for wearing black out contactsand dark clothing, the metal band, Cadence Calling, formed in 2014 in Toronto, Ontario. Their musical influences range from artist’s aesthetics and artist that includes August Burns Red, Motionless in White, Architects, Parkway Drive, Phinehas, Pvris, and Asking Alexandria.

Cadence Calling made their release debut with “Metamorphosis” (2014) that brings forth a style of metal everyone can get into. The band shares, “The most recurring theme of the EP is mental health as it is something extremely important to us because it seems overlooked and isn’t talked about enough.”

With their strong social media presence and ability to plan DIY tours around Ontario, Cadence Calling has performed with Thy Art is Murder, As Blood Runs Black, Phinehas, Aversions Crown, The Last Ten Seconds of Life, Erra, Ice Nine Kills, Rings of Saturn, Despised Icon.

Cadence Calling is a blend of new and old school with relentless harmonies and melodies as well as ruthless heaviness accompanied with vocals that are solely screamed. With their upcoming six-track release, “Dark Sentiment,” Cadence Calling returns with the elements of progressive metal and new school Metalcore with catchy choruses.

“Dark Sentiment,” produced by Sam Guaiana of Room 21 Sound (Hundred Suns, July, Like Pacific), will be released November 17th of this year.

The band consists of Stephen Boyd – Vocals, Nick Vazquez – Guitar, Josh Vicente – Bass, Nikko Melo – Drums.
