This past August word emerged of a new project in the works featuring As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis and Wolves At The Gate guitarist Joey Alarcon. Now well on his way to recovering from his bonfire mishap late last year that saw him suffer burns to 25% of his body, Lambesis has been back in the studio for the project as of late. He shared the below update from this most recent round of sessions yesterday, March 09th:
As I Lay Dying‘s latest album “Shaped By Fire” has been released September 20th. 2019 via Nuclear Blast Records.
“Shaped By Fire” was produced by As I Lay Dying and was mixed by Joseph McQueen at Sparrow Sound in Los Angeles, California, while mastering was completed by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound in Nashville, Tennessee. The only exception was the track ‘My Own Grave‘, which was produced by As I Lay Dying, co-produced by Drew Fulk and mixed by Adam “Nolly” Getgood.
