The German Post-Hardcore band About an Author has been added to the line-up for Graceland Festival this August in Zelhem, the Netherlands. The band says: ‘Can’t wait to see you there and enjoying spending time with amazing people!’.
About An Author will replace Swedish melodic metal band End Of September, due to personal reasons, they were forced to cancel their performance.

About an Author is a Modern-Post-Hardcore band from Augsburg/South-Germany. From the beginning in 2010, the band continuously followed a strict self-set rule: Playing as many live-shows as possible & wherever possible. This has lead the band to shows & festivals in the UK, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland and of course Germany and created a great fanbase across these countries. After the success of their EP “Sleepwalker“ (2010) they released their first full-length-record “Where the wild things aren´t“ in February 2014.
One reason for their success is their positive attitude together, representing personal values combined with their individual faith, which is mirrored in the lyrics. Their sound combines great sing-along-melodies with complex and straight rythms and breakdown parts – all adorned by synthetic-electronic elements that rocks every person at each show. Graceland is a new festival where there is room to seek God and where grace will be celebrated. The festival wants to point out everybody’s differences as a source of inspiration.
