Majestica frontman Tommy Johansson has shared a cover of the Dolly Parton classic, ‘I Will Always Love You’.

Johansson: “The Whitney Houston version as a tribute to Dolly Parton, who wrote the song in 1973.”

The song, originally written and performed by Dolly Parton, was featured on her album, Jolene, released in 1974.

Country music legend Dolly Parton, passed away on Tuesday, August 25 at the age of 80.

Variety reported that the announcement of Dolly’s passing came on her social media accounts, with a video from her nephew Bryan Seaver on behalf of the Parton family.

Per the family’s official obituary, “A rhinestone life that shone bright enough for the world to see, Dolly will forever stand as an inspiration not only through her timeless music and prolific songwriting, but also her wit, warmth, and kindness that made us all feel like family.
