Swedish melodic hard rock project Peter Carlsohn’s The Rise return in full force as they today release their new studio album Raising the Roof, available now on LP and CD, as well as on all major digital platforms via JONO Music and Sound Pollution Distribution.
To celebrate the album launch, Peter Carlsohn will host an exclusive release party with live music on April 25th at The View at Karlatornet in Gothenburg, the tallest building in the Nordics, marking a powerful and symbolic moment for the band’s new chapter.
Raising the Roof marks a bold step forward for Peter Carlsohn’s The Rise — a melodic hard-rock statement blending classic Scandinavian rock with a modern edge. Packed with big hooks, gritty riffs, vintage Hammond organ, and Carlsohn’s unmistakable bass-driven foundation, the album delivers both power and emotion.

Mixed by Tobias Lindell and mastered by Thomas “Plec” Johansson, the album delivers both punch and clarity, giving each track the space and energy it deserves. From driving hard-rock anthems to dynamic mid-tempo tracks layered with strong harmonies and emotional depth, the record carries both urgency and hope.
Since launching Peter Carlsohn’s The Rise in 2020 with the critically acclaimed debut Out of the Blue, Carlsohn has continued building on a musical legacy that stretches back decades — including his long tenure in the pioneering Swedish Christian rock band Jerusalem, as well as his work with XT and extensive international touring.
With Raising the Roof, he once again proves why he remains a vital voice in Scandinavian melodic rock.
Raising the Roof is written, arranged, and produced by Peter Carlsohn, mixed by Tobias Lindell and mastered by Thomas “Plec” Johansson. The album is released today, April 24th, 2026, via JONO Music and Sound Pollution Distribution on LP and CD, as well as on all major digital platforms.
