Good news for powermetal fans: Fellowship and Signum Regis are embarking on a short European tour this fall, including Brainstorm Festival in Apeldoorn. Alongside these two familiar faces, the Italian progressive rock/metal band Dark Ages will also be performing at our festival.
In just a few years, Fellowship has become a serious name in the powermetal scene. Inspired by bands like Twilight Force, Rhapsody, and Majestica, Fellowship has been building a reputation since 2019. Following an EP, their debut album “The Saberlight Chronicles, was a smash hit. They instantly put themselves on the map, and as if that wasn’t enough, they followed up with a second fantastic album, “The Skies Above Eternity“.
Signum Regis is returning to the Netherlands at a special moment. The band is releasing a new album this fall, and expectations are high. Moreover, the band is working on a unique lineup. It’s been announced that the Slovaks were left without a singer last year. A fantastic solution is in sight and will be presented by the band later this year.
The history of Dark Ages goes back a long way, to the early 1980s to be precise. Yet, we’re not dealing with an old band here. Almost all the band members joined much later, breathing new life into the Italian progressive rock/metal band. The result is an eager band that’s eager to make a name for itself.
Roy Khan, Sirenia, and Wytch Hazel were previously confirmed for the Brainstorm Festival, which will be held on Friday, November 6th, and Saturday, November 7th, at Podium Gigant in Apeldoorn. In addition to performances on the main stage, there will be acoustic performances, interviews, and clinics in our theater hall. The festival also features an exhibition, a beer tasting, and a small metal market.
More artists will be announced in the coming weeks and months.
