Demon Hunter‘s recent onslaught of new music will culminate in the September 12th release of their new album “There Was A Light Here“. Recording sessions for that album took place with vocalist Ryan Clark and guitarist Jeremiah Scott sharing the production duties. Mixing and mastering was overseen by Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed) sans the title track, which was taken on by Eric Stenman (AWOLNATION, Deftones).
This new record will land via the band’s own Weapons MFG label and is said to center around love and loss, having been dedicated to Clark‘s late mother. While four songs have been publicly shared in advance, the group recently let those subscribed to their newsletter at demonhunter.net hear a fifth track, ‘Ouroboros‘.
