Finland’s Swallow The Sun have issued the following update in regards to the band lineup for The Morning Never Came Anniversary Tour, where they will celebrate their 2003 melancholic death doom classic “The Morning Never Came” in its entirety, along with other fan-favorites.
“Unfortunately Kai [Hahto] is unable to do the Morning Never Came anniversary gigs this fall, but on short notice we managed to get hold of a fantastic drummer, Juuso Raatikainen, to fill Kai‘s giant shoes for these shows. Kai will be back on his throne for the 70,000 Tons of Metal and Mexican shows. See you soon on the road people!”
Supporting Swallow The Sun on The Morning Never Came Anniversary Tour will be British kings of all things depressive Antimatter and Italian goth doomers The Foreshadowing.
