Pat Douglas of GreatFallsTribune.com recently conducted an interview with Megadeth bassist David Ellefson. A few excerpts from the chat follow below. On Megadeth‘s 10th Grammy nomination, this time for “best hard rock/metal performance” for the single, Public Enemy No. 1 (the award eventually went to Foo Fighters):
Megadeth played a six-song acoustic set for around 50 contest winners chosen by Detroit, Michigan’s WRIF 101.1 FM radio station. The performance took place yesterday [Thursday, February 9] at 3:00 p.m. EST at the Palace of Auburn Hills
Megadeth bassist David Ellefson last fall became one of 100 students in the distance education program at the Concordia Seminary in Clayton, Missouri. Classes include “Lutheran Distinctions,” “Preaching I & II,” “Introduction to Worship” and “Scripture and Faith.”

Behind-the-scenes footage from the making of Megadeth‘s video for the song Public Enemy No. 1 can be viewed below. The clip was shot on September 17, 2011 in Santa Clarita, California on a movie set where old Westerns
