Swedish hard rock band Starmen follows up the success of Starmenized (2023) with their fifth studio album, Starmenized II. The first single and music video, Trouble, is released today.
Since their formation in 2020, Starmen have cemented their position in the rock world with their own unique musical DNA. Following the success of Starmenized (2023) and the career-spanning compilation The Best of Starmen – Volume 1 (2024), the band now digs into their vault.
During the writing sessions for Starmenized, the band ended up with around 30 tracks, but only ten made it onto the album. Now, the strongest of the previously unreleased songs will be released together with the brand-new track ‘Born to Rock’ on the band’s fifth studio album, Starmenized II.
“We had so many great songs left from the last album that it would have been a waste not to release them,” says bassist Jonatan Samuelsson (Gold Starman).
In addition to the previously unreleased material, the album features the brand-new single ‘Born to Rock’, written and performed by Samuelsson. The remaining tracks are primarily written and performed by the band’s frontman, rhythm guitarist, and main songwriter, Kristian Hermanson (Red Starman).
Starmenized II is produced by Kristian Hermanson, mixed and mastered by CJ Grimmark (Narnia), with all artwork and design by Jonatan Samuelsson. The album will be released via Melodic Passion Records and Sound Pollution Distribution, both on CD and on all major digital platforms, November 28th, 2025.
