UK’s Fellowship has released a video for ‘Oak and Ash’ – third single taken from the debut album “The Saberlight Chronicles”, set to be released on July 15th. via Scarlet Records.
“‘Oak and Ash’ is one of the heavier and shreddier tracks on the album, and one that’s very personal to us. It’s about vulnerability, and how keeping yourself protected also protects you from help. We filmed the video in two sessions because Sam had covid for the first one but had a lot of fun anyway! We hope that this video shows our characters as people as much as our music.”
Fellowship burst onto the power metal scene with their debut record, laying down catchy tunes, speeding guitar-work and life-affirming lyricism.
Continuing in the magical tradition of Twilight Force, Rhapsody and Majestica, and bringing the genre’s emotional stakes to new heights, “The Saberlight Chronicles” is equal parts high fantasy narrative concept-record and heartfelt collection of absolute bangers… at least that’s how they say it – they’re British, after all.
Taking on the subject of mental health at a time in our lives where we all need a pick-me-up, the album tells a mythical story of self-worth, self-discovery and the quest for courage, all through songs so catchy you’ll be singing along on the very first listen.
Metal has never felt so good!– debut album for the hottest newcomer of the British and international power metal scene – produced, mixed and mastered by Richard Campbell at Orpheus Studio, London – artwork by Peter Sallai (Accept, Sabaton, Brothers Of Metal) – sing-along lyrics with mental health themes, amidst classic high fantasy settings and sounds accompanying novel with each song corresponding to a chapter in the story – first edition available in digipak CD and vinyl (limited) – for fans of Rhapsody Of Fire, Twilight Force, Sabaton, Majestica, Helloween
