Of Mice & Men Unveil Details For New Album “Tether”, Launch First Single ‘Warpaint’

Of Mice & Men‘s new studio album “Tether” will be making its way out into the world on October 06th through SharpTone Records. The gold-certified metalcore outfit are now streaming the first single from that effort, “Warpaint“.

The group oversaw both the production and engineering duties of the songs for this album themselves. Vocalist/bassist Aaron Pauley took on the mixing and mastering duties, while drummer Valentino Arteaga oversaw the artwork.

Pauley himself had the following to say of this first taste of the record:

“We’re excited to share ‘Warpaint‘ as the first single. We feel like it bridges the gap between the OM&M you’ve heard and known, and what’s to come. ‘Warpaint‘ is a heavy and anthemic song about resilience, and rallying the courage to face your fears head on.”

Pauley also spoke of the band’s mindset with this eighth studio outing:

“With this one, we weren’t really focused on how it sounded as much as we focused on how it felt. And that’s a weird thing to do when all you’re working with is sound. But that was really the goal. And we walked away from making it, feeling like we’ve accomplished that.”
