Islander and Loudwire are excited to unveil the emotive new music video for ‘Better Day,’ the fourth clip from the breakout band’s magnetic concept album “Power Under Control.” which has been released on August, 5th 2016 through Victory Records. The video can be watched below.

Speaking of the song’s meaning, frontman Mikey Carvajal asserts: “It’s simple, really. The world is hurting, so we wrote an anthem for those that are hurting. ‘Better Day’ is a song of hope.”

Islander are currently performing to sold-out crowds on the ‘Lifelines Tour’, which features I Prevail, Wage War, and Assuming We Survive. The tour circles North America before concluding March 8 in Seattle. Islander will then continue touring throughout the summer, with a major announcement to be revealed soon.

“Power Under Control” finds Islander doubling down on their alt-rock, punk via hip-hop inspired sound that’s more modern than retro. The highly anticipated sophomore album was released on August 5, 2016.
