New ‘Golden Resurrection’ Music Video Released

Swedish melodic metal band Golden Resurrection released their second album Man With A Mission on October 27, 2011, exactly a year after their debut Glory To My King. Below the first music video from that album for Identity In Christ.

In 2008 Christian Liljegren joined forces with Tommy Johansson, a 20-year-old super-talented vocalist and guitar hero. Both shared a big passion for melodic neoclassical metal and Golden Resurrection was born.

Musically they offer Swedish melodic neoclassical metal in the vein of ReinXeed. Golden Resurrection was formed in 2008 by Christian Liljegren and twenty year old guitarist Tommy Johansson (ReinXeed). The line-up was completed by Stefan Käck (bass), Rickard Gustafsson from Pantokrator (drums) and Olov Andersson from Audiovision on keyboards.

“I can talk about melodies, power and classic references, but the main reason you will love this album, is Tommy. His speeding solo’s will make you smile. They will bring back the sweet memories you have on Impellitteri, Malmsteen and Vinnie Moore. (Not to forget Gary Moore and Kerry Livgren, both honored with a cover-song on the digital version of this masterpiece.)I’m glad this Golden Resurrection-album exists. Yes, it’s too bad the band doesn’t seem to take much time to tour the scene, but still that isn’t a reason for my smile to dissapear. And if it does, I’ll just put on this album… and it will be back in no time!. “Read the full review here.
