British death/doom metal band My Silent Wake are ready to release a brand new album in May which carries the title “Lost in Memories, Lost in Grief”. Frontman Ian Arkley states:

In a genre known for long songs, this surely ranks as one of the shortest death / doom songs ever, it certainly is our shortest. The album covers a lot of ground and we chose this as the first single as it is so immediate.

Recorded, mixed and mastered at Priory Recording Studios by Greg Chandler (Alunah, Officium Triste, Serpent Cult etc) and at Hollow Hearth by the band’s own Simon Bibby, Lost In Memories, Lost In Grief possesses an enthralling depth of sound, from which an array of nuances and layers emerge every time the listener sinks beneath its limpid waters.
