Italian Progressive Metal Band S91 have released a lyric video for their new song ‘Martin Luther’ check it out below. The song is also available as digital single.

The band states: “We wrote this song for three reasons. First, We want to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the Protestant Reform. Second, we would like the Pentecostal Church to pay attention to the story of a quite unknown historical figure and get rid of the claim of being direct descendants of ancient Christianity, pretending that in the last 1900 years nothing has happened. Third, we want to reflect on our roots in a Non-anticatholic way but wonder if it is possible to begin to heal the wound that the Protestant Reformation has done to the Western Church.”

S91‘s latest album “Behold the Mankind” is released on November 7th 2016 through Underground Symphony. “Behold the mankind” is a concept album about the history of mankind based on Christian theology.

The band plays progressive metal with modern shades, psychedelic atmospheres and complex time signature. “Behold The Mankind” is a masterpiece for fans of Delain, Darkwater, Shadow Gallery. The album is produced by Cristiano Bertocchi (Vision Divine, Labyrinth, Wind Rose) and Christian Liljegren (Narnia, Golden Resurrection, Divinefire, etc) is a very special guest on ‘The Cry Of Life’.

S91 was founded in 2006 with the intention of playing rock music with Christian lyrics. After several lineup changes and after the debut with the EP “Sto per tornare” (2009, Morning Star label), the band released its first full-length “Volontà Legata”, developing their own style in the wake of a coordinated progressive-metal with psychedelic and pop influences.
