Gideon will tour UK/Europe in March with Fathoms and Here Lies A Warning. Dates are listed below:
Tuscaloosa, Alabama’s Gideon are a no holds barred, in-your-face hardcore band with an already impressive repertoire. Well-placed gang vocals and a powerful front man set Gideon apart from many of their peers, while the band as a whole, whose members have been playing together only since 2008, come off sounding like seasoned pros.
Milestone the new Gideon album has been released on July 3 2012 via Facedown Records. ‘No Acceptance’ their first music video can be seen below.
Gideon released their debut album Costs in the spring of 2011 and quickly took the hardcore scene by storm while touring non-stop alongside such bands as Sleeping Giant, First Blood, and Betrayal; and playing festivals like the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, Facedown Fest, Cornerstone Festival and Sonshine Festival.
They are now back with their sophomore album Milestone which has grown into one of Facedown’s most anticipated releases of 2012. Returning to the studio with Brian Hood at 456 Recordings, Milestone’s 11-tracks find the band maturing as both songwriters and performers.
